Created for a collaboration between Grège Gallery and Luxembourg Art Week, Temple is a monumental sculpture composed of 102 hand-built black stoneware spheres. Each element was fired to 1,250°C before being individually balanced and assembled into a single upright composition. Inspired by the abstract form of a temple, the work is built from one of the most fundamental geometric forms—the sphere. Through repetition, careful balance, and scale, a simple element becomes an architectural structure, while the matte black stoneware emphasizes volume, light, and shadow. Installed at Place de Metz in Luxembourg City, the sculpture occupied the square as a temporary public installation.
