Created for a collaboration with Grège Gallery & CWART, Series of Women consists of abstract stoneware sculptures inspired by women whose lives were closely connected to the rural landscape. Built from simple, stacked forms and finished in a variety of glazes and natural ceramic surfaces, each sculpture suggests an individual presence while remaining intentionally reduced. The series includes Farmer’s Wife, Youngest Daughter, Quiet Old Milkmaid, and She Knew the Cows by Their Name.
