Created for a collaboration between Philia, Shifting Vision, and the Medici Archive, this limited series reinterprets the iconic forms of early Medici porcelain through a contemporary lens. Inspired by the silhouettes of flasks, jugs, vases, and olive oil vessels, each sculpture distills the original object to its essential geometry while dramatically enlarging its scale. By stripping away ornament and transforming functional objects into monumental porcelain sculptures, the series invites a renewed appreciation of forms that have shaped centuries of material culture.
